As a child in foster care, you were in a position to learn what your parent had been through.
The child could see what it was like to grow up in a foster home.
But what about in a family?
When you grow up, you become a grown-up.
When you leave, you don’t know what to do with your life.
How do you find the time to explore your own personal stories, explore your feelings, and explore what life is like?
It’s not always easy to do.
The answer is to have a good mentor who is willing to listen and to help you figure out your own way of living.
