A 11-year-old boy has died after his car collided with a vehicle at the intersection of Cottesloe Highway and Lakemba Drive in South Australian state of Victoria.
Police said the collision happened at about 4:20pm.
A 12-year old girl and a 13-year woman were both transported to hospital.
A 15-year boy and his 18-year wife were also taken to hospital for minor injuries.
Police have charged 19-year man James Murchison, who was driving, with two counts of failing to provide a breath sample.
He was bailed to appear in the ACT Magistrates Court later this week.
The collision caused major damage to the front of the car and damaged the rear of the vehicle.
Police say the man was travelling at a high rate of speed when he hit the road.
