When you want to go back in time, you don’t have to get a tattoo October 31, 2021 October 31, 2021 admin

Childwen was 12 years old when she was the first to get the tattoo of a boy and girl in her family.

The tattoo was of her father, who was the only person in her life who knew about the child’s condition.

“It’s always a dream to have a tattoo of someone who’s in the family,” she said.

“To have a part of someone you love is always an amazing thing.”

The tattoo, a stylised representation of her face and body, came after years of living in Australia.

But when her parents divorced in 2009, Childwen said she knew the moment would come for her to have her own child.

“When you’re 16 years old you want something for yourself and that was my goal.

I just wanted to get it,” she explained.”

I was like, ‘I don’t want to be here for my whole life.'”

Childwen said her parents told her they’d moved to Australia to work but were not allowed to stay.

“They were like, “We can’t stay here because we don’t know where you’re going.””

They said, ‘Well, if you get a job in Australia, we can let you stay’.

“Childwen went to the local employment agency and applied for a job at a nearby bank.

She found the job and started working full time.

But the tattoo became an obsession.”

The first time I got a tattoo it was really important to me,” she recalled.”

My mom was like I was a big kid and my dad was like what the hell are you doing here?

“Childwen’s tattoo took years to complete, taking a couple of years to develop.”

After about five years of my life, it got to a point where I was like this is the time to get that tattoo and I thought I was ready to do it,” Childwen recalled.

Childwen has been working as a nurse in Sydney’s inner west since 2014.

She’s currently caring for young patients and is currently taking her time to take the tattoo.”

There’s no rush because I have so much stuff to do,” she laughed.”

Sometimes I have to think really hard about whether I want to do something like this, but I think it’s something that I’ll be proud of.
